Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
- For the base, mix together the flour, applesauce, protein powder and plant milk
- Spread the batter on the bottom of a round cake tin and form a 1cm high rim
- Prick the bottom several times with a fork to create air holes.
- For the cream, mix the soy yoghurt, custard powder and erythritol together and pour onto the pastry.
- Peel an apple and spread the chopped apple over the cream.
- For the topping, mix the oat flakes with the maple syrup and almond paste and crumble over the apple.
- Bake the cake in the oven for 25 minutes until lightly browned.
Tip
The cake tastes best warm when it is fresh out of the oven.
