Vitamin C is a vitamin that you can find in various types of fruit. Citrus fruits are especially recommended. But some vegetables such as peppers, cabbage, potatoes and tomatoes also contain a high amount of vitamin C. This nutrient is extremely important for your immune system, your iron absorption and also for protecting your eyes from UV light.

Vitamin D is also called calciferol and is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is found in particular in the liver fat of sea fish, egg yolk and sesame seeds. Furthermore, your body can produce it itself through exposure to sunlight. Vitamin D is very important for calcium absorption in the intestine and subsequently for calcium and phosphate incorporation into the bones, the so-called bone mineralisation.
